The liquid team pulled together an interface for order management, but had not accounted for orders that contain multiple different bottle skus. They brought me in to rework the interface to accommodate those multi bottle orders.
• Indicator for orders that contain multiple skus.
• Panel to select sizing and quantity of boxes as well as which bottles within the order go in each box.
• Ability to print multiple packing slips and labels based on the quantity of needed boxes.
To allow for the interface to accommodate orders with multiple/different bottles a few changes needed to be made to the user flow.
1. Adding in an icon to show when an order contains multiple skus. This is a visual indicator to the retailer that there are other bottles within the order that would need to be shipped together.
2. Combined the generate packing slips and labels into one window to eliminate steps and to ensure that the correct quantity is generated for printing.
3. Additional column in the generation pop up window to indicate whether the box(es) for the order were fully selected.
4. The ability to add multiple boxes and choose which bottles to place within each. Each box can be a unique sizing and weight or the user can save a preset and create multiple boxes with the same specs. Once all bottles are placed within a box the order shows as completed in the column mentioned above.
5. Quantity call out on the print page so the user knows how many of each packing slip will be printed. This number is generated based on the number of boxes they selected for an order.
